Community Creativity Poetry Project with Diana Farid

As we celebrate Women in Medicine Month, all School of Medicine faculty, fellows, residents, and staff are invited to create and submit content in support of a participatory poem that celebrates women in medicine. Department of Medicine (DoM) faculty member, author, and poet, Diana Farid MD, will combine our shared responses into a final participatory poem. The poem will be exhibited on the DoM website(s) and may potentially be distributed via media communications or readings.

As our hope is for the finished product to reflect diverse experiences of women in medicine, while inspiring a sense of shared empathy and belonging, we would like to include as many voices and experiences as possible. If you are interested in lending your voice and words to this community-produced poem, please share your responses to the prompt questions by September 30th. The prompts are open to all and responses will be de-identified.
